I'm excited to share with you what my geography lessons entail, the unique format I use, and how my background and experience shape our learning journey.

Lesson Format:

My lessons are structured yet flexible, adapting to each student's learning style and needs. We typically start with a brief overview of the topic, setting clear objectives for the session. This is followed by an interactive presentation that includes visual aids like maps, graphs, and videos to bring the subject to life.

Content and Dynamics:

For GCSE and A-Level Students: We cover the syllabus comprehensively, focusing on key concepts, case studies, and exam techniques. I use a variety of teaching tools including quizzes, mind maps, and interactive discussions to ensure a thorough understanding of each topic.

For University Students: Our sessions delve into more advanced topics in Physical and Human Geography, with an emphasis on critical thinking, research skills, and data analysis. We explore current research and case studies, encouraging debate and discussion.

Experience and Approach:

With a BSc in Earth and Planetary Sciences with Geology and Physical Geography from the University of Manchester and currently pursuing a Master's in Mining Geology at the University of Exeter, I bring a deep understanding of the subject.

Having achieved a Grade A at A-level Geography, I understand the challenges and expectations of the curriculum.

My experience teaching diverse age groups has honed my ability to communicate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Whether it's explaining the water cycle to a GCSE student or discussing climate change policies with a university student, I ensure clarity and engagement.
