I have a MA in Applied Linguistics from UCL Institute of Education, University of London where I focused on the connection between the socio-cultural well-being of students and academic achievement.
Additionally:
• Extensive experience in tutoring and supporting students in their subject areas for reading and analysis of academic texts; planning and composing academic essays; engaging in independent research projects; planning and delivering oral presentations and developing their language and academic skills proficiency
• Effective teaching methods where students learn and perform to expected outcomes
• Provide a student centred learning environment with effective methods for formative and summative assessment requirements and mark with constructive, and actionable feedback
• Follow best practices in incorporating advice, assistance, and regular feedback to students
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Effective IT skills, in particular the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
As I am well-versed in all facets of teaching, encompassing student-centric curriculum planning, student support, and evaluation, my focus is on student centred learning.
