I am a student-centred tutor; students are at the centre of my teaching.

To begin with, I need to know what your needs and expectations are and once that is established, I can work with you to plan a programme that fits your needs. A successful programme requires a responsible and effective working relationship between us and additionally, it requires work and sometimes small sacrifices (I am sure you know what I mean). Success is not always easy and it requires work, as we all know.

To progress, we need to establish a timeframe and timeline, which we are both committed to, one that is realistic and able to support your goals.

Once we start to work on your programme, I monitor your progress and at times will give you formative assessments. My feedback is constructive and actionable for you to achieve what you set out to do.

As a student-centred tutor, I focus on tasks within the parameters of your needs with you learning by doing, where you continue to learn to think critically and prepare for the future.
