Advert description
As a native of India, I have had the privilege of growing up in a culture that deeply values the ancient practices of Yoga and Ayurveda. These holistic approaches to wellness have been an integral part of my life from an early age, and my passion for sharing their profound benefits with others has led me to become a Yoga and Ayurveda teacher.
Being born and raised in India has given me a unique perspective on these practices, as I have witnessed firsthand their rich history, cultural significance, and transformational effects on individuals and communities. I have been fortunate to receive traditional and authentic training in Yoga and Ayurveda from esteemed teachers and institutions in India, which has provided me with a solid foundation in these ancient sciences.
My teachings are deeply rooted in the traditional practices of Yoga and Ayurveda, as I believe in preserving their authenticity and essence while adapting them to the modern context. I am well-versed in the philosophical, ethical, and practical aspects of Yoga, including the eight limbs of Yoga as described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. I also have a deep understanding of the principles of Ayurveda, including the doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), the concept of agni (digestive fire), and the use of herbs, oils, and other natural remedies for health and wellness.
One of my core beliefs as a Yoga and Ayurveda teacher is that these practices are not just physical exercises or treatments, but holistic systems that encompass the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. I emphasize the integration of these aspects in my teachings, offering a holistic approach to wellness that addresses the whole person, rather than just isolated symptoms or conditions.
In my classes, I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where students can explore and experience the profound benefits of Yoga and Ayurveda. I believe in the power of mindful movement, breath awareness, and meditation to cultivate a deep connection between body, mind, and spirit. I guide my students to develop self-awareness, self-care, and self-compassion, as I believe that these are the foundation of true well-being.
I offer a variety of Yoga classes, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative, depending on the needs of my students and the class objectives. I focus on proper alignment, breath control, and mindfulness.
