Enthusiastic, English tutor prepared to provide engaging, educational sessions for students online from ages 10-16

Hi, I am an undergraduate studying English Literature at Warwick University with an A* in English at A-level. I have been tutoring students for 6 months from ages 10-16, preparing them for 11+ and GCSE examinations. I provide online sessions via Google Meet, creating worksheets to complete during the sessions and for homework. Lessons are also highly interactive through screen sharing their work and going through corrections - allowing for close attention to details that cannot be grasped within a classroom. Alongside 11+, I also provide lessons on how to improve grammar, SPAG and writing skills for students of all ages. Regarding GCSE, I am familiar with all exam boards Edexcel (GCSE AND IGCSE), AQA and OCR through tutoring students previously as well as studying IGCSE myself. During my sessions we will go over their own work and improve it together; compare it to the requirements of the mark scheme to apply to each question; see how heavily each assessment criteria is weighted etc. Also, we will go over structure of exam questions, giving them guidance on the style they show be writing in, speeding up efficiency. As well as this, planning and collective practice essay writing will be done to prepare for examinations.
Alongside this, I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of the students, arranging monthly calls with their parental guardians to discuss progress. In terms of further welfare, my lessons surpass merely just English lessons, we discuss how to improve time management skills, how to deal with exam pressure as I understand from personal experience how impactful this can be to essay based subjects, especially English.
I am very passionate about my subject and hope to project this on to my students, encouraging them to be successful and achieve their desired grades!
