I have been helping pupils develop their key literacy and numeracy skills for over eighteen years. I have worked with different ages, abilities and starting points, ensuring maximum progress and excellent attainment for all my pupils. I am able to analyse gaps in pupils' knowledge and understanding, so I can design a bespoke programme of study to address the specific barriers. I have seen my pupils achieve amazing results in Maths and English, become more confident and ready to tackle other challenges. They have developed a 'growth mindset', moving on to the next stage of development, aiming for ambitious goals, such as passing 11+ exams, entering a prestigious educational setting, securing a better job, etc.
I have a qualified teacher's status, a master's degree in English Education, a SENCo qualification.
