Chemistry tutor for GCSEs and A-levels, achieved a 9 and A* in the subject

Hi, my name is Aditya and I am currently a first year medical student at King's College London with a passion for teaching chemistry to younger students and helping them excel. I achieve a 9 in chemistry at GCSE and an A* at A-level so I understand what it takes to reach the top grades and can tutor you and provide you with resources to do the same.

I have previously tutored a year 12 student in A-level biology to help him manage the jump in difficulty from GCSE to A-level and he has now gone on to have an A* prediction in his mocks. My main method of assisting his learning was to first of all identify his weaknesses and areas where he was less confident and then go through content in this area with him, making sure to clarify and explain everything. The most important part of my methodology was making him feel comfortable to ask any questions he had no matter how stupid they seemed to him as I know that this is key for understanding. Aside from this, I also did past paper questions with him and shared with him the flashcards that I used myself to obtain an A* in biology. This is the same methodology I will be using to tutor chemistry.
