Chemistry Teacher- Experiences KS3 and GCSE Science Tutor

Hi I'm Shokra, a second year secondary school science teacher (3 years experience). I have graduated in Bsc Neuroscience (1st Class Honours), and have gained my QTS (qualified teacher status) PGCE in Secondary Chemistry Education.

I offer tuition for key stage 3 and GCSE, for all three sciences (biology, chemistry and physics).

I have over 2 years of tuition experience and have received great feedback from both students and parents, whereby my students get the grades!

I teach online lessons where I have a thorough understanding of the specification, exam question and am also able to break down complex scientific ideas into understandable chunks. This is achieved through the use of whiteboards, to start of with a concept and build a bigger picture- which can later be applied to exam style questions. This is to ensures that my lessons are engaging and interactive for my students.
