Biology Tutor teaching GCSE and A-level students

I am a third year student at the University of Cambridge studying veterinary medicine. However, this year I am intercalating to complete a bachelors in Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, one of the Biological Natural Sciences. I have an excellent record of academic achievements from GCSEs, by getting 7x9s, all the way up to university l level, receiving an academic scholarship for my results in first year exams. However, not only am I academically competent but I also have previous tutoring and teaching experience. At sixth form I volunteered at a local primary school to help with homework club. Additionally in 2021 I helped three tutees, one student in chemistry and physics for their GCSEs and two for their sixth form entry tests, one in biology and one in chemistry. I believe I have great time management skills, learnt from my constant involvement in extracurricular activities, that allow me to set aside adequate time to make thorough and creative lesson plans. Furthermore, through my previous experience as a tutor and academic path to become a vet, I have had a lot of practice in scientific communication. Overall I hope to encourage those I am tutoring to excel in their subjects and enjoy their studies.
