Accent reduction for non native speakers

I have a BA First Class degree in Acting from Drama Studio London, which is accredited by De Montfort University.

These sessions are for those who are not native to Britain and wish to iron out their native accent.

Our first session will be us working towards understanding each other and what it is we wish to achieve over our sessions together. For this reason, this first session will run slightly shorter at 30 minutes rather than the 1 hour standard time allocated for our official sessions.

When working we will develop an understanding of the anatomy involved in producing voice and will take a look at the different building blocks of accent, reflecting on the differences between your own and the British accent.

Working on practice material, we will iron out any key sounds and qualities that are present and will be done in a warm and encouraging environment with notes being taken throughout and a flexible session structure that allows us to focus on what needs work week to week.
