Having taught Piano to beginners for 3 years, my knowledge of music theory had to be translated into an educational format. Yet, I also gained crucial experience when teaching primary school students the basics of music technology. By integrating elements of both theoretical and practical approaches to music, whilst keeping the activities simple and enjoyable, my students’ understanding improved greatly.
