Firstly, I will identify areas of difficulty, such as concepts or exam questions. For specific topics, I use specifications and resources from exam boards to guide students, highlighting key concepts. I can provide alternative explanations and real-world examples to improve understanding, and show how exciting biology can be. I also provide questions to test comprehension after lessons. For exam questions, I use past papers and example questions to practice analysing questions and identifying the essential information required. I challenge the student to lead the sessions, building confidence and analytical skills.
