I discuss with parents and students to identify strengths and weaknesses, tailoring my approach to the needs of the student.
I use content specifications provided by exam boards to ensure key concepts are revised. I guide students through textbooks and other exam board-provided resources, providing extra detail to help explain the significance of these ideas, and simplify concepts. I encourage participation and interaction, as this builds confidence, and previous feedback from students’ parents and teachers has highlighted how class participation and confidence is encouraged.

I tutor predominantly online, using a range of personalised and web-based resources to support teaching during the session. I also provide short questionnaires to reinforce and track learning and comprehension following the class.
