I am from a big family, I've taught several kids, I'm always helping my friends kids with homework as they are older than mine. Sometimes the best way to teach is to simplify the way the formula works or the way the question is phrased. I always say if I could go back to school I'd look at things in the simplest way and I'd be flying, but I can't do that, so I'll help kids do it instead. It's easier to teach someone something than to learn it yourself for the first time, so patience and understanding is key. I still get so frustrated when I don't understand something first time, so I completely understand if anyone struggles and needs a different way of learning. Help me help you and we'll all do great.
