Online GCSE English and A-Level English language tutor currently studying English and Linguistics at the University of York

I have experience volunteering to help students throughout high school who have struggled to keep up in English which prompted me to become a tutor when starting University. I have spent the vast majority of first year tutoring English and have come to thoroughly enjoy it. I achieved 9s in GCSE English Language and English Literature, before going on to achieve As in both A-Level Literature and English Language (achieving 98/100 in my language coursework). I work to encourage students independence and confidence in their responses, challenging them and guiding them through exam technique. As a student, my time is very flexible and I am able to cooperate with times that suit students best.
