Online English as a Foreign Language Tutor - Part Time position

At New College Group, my role as an English Teacher involves fulfilling the academic journey of students by fostering an environment of interdisciplinary and comprehensive linguistic development. Leveraging my skills from the Master's in Applied Linguistics and TESOL, I specialise in simplifying complex English concepts which enhance student engagement and academic success. I have extensive knowledge in teaching English to a variety of fields given my experience in teaching English for the pre-sessional courses at the University of Nottingham. My expertise extends to creating educational content that resonates with diverse learning needs.

My recent accomplishments include orchestrating online vocational courses in English for Tourism and formal English. I also spearheaded initiatives like the 'Activate My English' Series, which provides free and entertaining guidance for professional development in English through three series. These endeavours, coupled with my proficiency in communication, underscore my dedication to advancing language education and technology. Currently, I aspire to work in secondary English to prepare students of all backgrounds with practical research skills, while developing an app that provides sentiment analysis to boost the fluency and presentation skills of learners. I can greatly contribute to the online language instruction as I am familiar with a variety of tools from Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, and Zoom.
