History and English teacher, for kids and adults

Hello, everyone! I am Attila. I earned my MA in English and History, and I have a Business English certificate. I have been teaching these subjects since 1990.
I have always had a passion for history. When I was a kid, I loved listening to my grandparents telling me stories about their younger years. Even though people were poor in those days, I wished I could have experienced them in person.
In school, my favorite subjects were English and History. No wonder I studied these subjects at university. I started to do research into 20th century history, and my bachelor and master theses are about Finnish and Hungarian history.
I believe that without basic historical knowledge and foundations, present-day events and historical trends cannot be understood or interpreted properly. So this subject is extremely important!
I have wide lexical knowledge, not just about European, but also world history, and I am able to explain everything for students with great clarity. I also have the ability to raise their interests, which makes learning much easier.
I often ask students questions, which enables them to learn independent thinking. Eliciting the answer to a historical question is way more superior than just giving the answer.
I have taught history in primary and secondary schools, and I have had private students.
My students, and their parents have always been very pleased with my work.
What else can I say? My classes are easy-going but also serious at the same time. I am a hard-working, responsible teacher, but I think I also have a sense of humor, so my students like my classes very much.
