I’m a private tutor with experience in one to one teaching, online and in person. Understanding is key to me, so I ensure students are comfortable enough to ask me any questions at any time; their confidence in themselves is what I believe propels them further. I take pride in my personalised lessons, since taking the time to know my students strengths and weaknesses is imperative to a good teacher. Having ‘mini tests’ every 2-4weeks depending on the subject, allows me to judge the level of understanding my student has had after my lessons and how I can help them further since in some cases, they find it hard to articulate or realise what they’re struggling with. It also pushes them to continue working outside of lessons, which ultimately improves their performance not only in my classes, but in school too.
