I carry out emotional literacy sessions and provide emotional, behavioural and general pastoral support.

I have been working as the pastoral lead for St Francis de Sales Junior school since June 2022. This job has allowed me to develop my empathic listening and given me a lot of confidence working both with groups and one-to-one. The provisions I carry out are emotional literacy sessions, bereavement support sessions, raising goals and aspirations lessons, friendship and social skills workshops, as well as behavioural intervention. The role has meant I have had to manage my own timetable and remain organised to stay on top of sessions, reports and admin.
