I deliver emotion based interventions with a focus on personal growth. I help students develop their self-awareness, social skills, empathy and help them with emotion regulation.

I have a counselling and psychotherapy background so I like to help students to explore their own thoughts and feelings and apply their knowledge to their own experiences. I have worked in both primary and secondary schools offering a wide range of interventions that support different students with individual needs.

Each intervention is tailored to each pupil in order to meet individual needs which allows for the most successful outcomes. I like to keep my lessons structured but with a relaxed approach. I focusing on building a good therapeutic relationship with each student so that a safe space is created which allows for students to reach their maximum potential.

I hold a BSc in Critical Approaches to Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am currently completing a Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling. I have completed a wide range of CPD courses surrounding mental health as well as courses focusing on SEN and how to support children with complex needs.

A checklist will be completed to identify and pin point areas of improvement. These checklists will be completed again at the end of the intervention to assess positive outcomes. Online sessions will last for 45 minutes with conversational check-ins and practical resources which can be sent by email or post if you do not have access to a printer. I will bring all resources to In person one-to-one sessions.
