Primary School Curriculum Tutor - all areas/subjects

I have a first class degree in Primary and Early Years Education (with Qualified Teacher Status) with 6+years experience working with primary school aged children. My experience working in residential childcare has also equipped me with strong skills in managing challenging behaviour and supporting children with SEN and additional needs. I have am skilled at differentiating learning materials and adapting my teaching style to meet the needs of the learner thereby increasing pupil engagement and motivation. I am particularly interested in developing children's written and verbal communication skills in relation to: spelling and grammar; reading and comprehension; creative writing/thinking; written and verbal reasoning; critical thinking; socio-emotional conflict resolution; and, research skills. I am also happy to support your child with any area of the primary curriculum. I have experience working with children aged 3-17; if your child is of high school / secondary school age but currently performing at a primary/early years level, I am confident in supporting them to meet their educational targets.

I have significant experience working with children who have ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
