Experienced and enthusiastic primary school teacher and tutor

I'm an enthusiastic and supportive primary school teacher who loves seeing students grow in confidence and ability. There's nothing better than hearing my students say "Ah, I get it now!".

I work well with children of all levels of experience and confidence. I like to find out where they are at in their studies and explore with them any barriers or blocks to their learning, so that together we can make learning fun and help them achieve.

I have experience of working with children with dyslexia, ADHD, dyscalculia, anxiety, as well as autistic students. I'm passionate about helping all kids reach their potential. I believe that all children can do well if the right targets, support and encouragement are provided.

My style of teaching adapts to your child's needs and I aim to help all children enjoy their lessons as much as possible. Children learn best when they have a relaxed, yet structured learning environment. How this looks varies from child to child and I would work to ensure that my approach supports your child with their particular needs.

Education should be an adventure that sets children on a path of lifelong love of learning. By working with your child's needs and interests I aim to help them on that road.
