Hello all 👋🏽 My name is Uzma 🤗 I am a Primary School teacher 👩🏽‍🏫 with over 5+ years of experience. I am qualified on the PGCE SCITT 3-7 years Teaching Programme, and have worked in Key Stage Two. I am also trained on the National Tutoring Programme 📝 which I have been actively engaged in for the last 3 years both privately & professionally.

I recently returned from the Middle East ☀️ after a year sabbatical, where I led Art workshops👩🏽‍🎨🪘 for behavioural needs children aged 5 -12, as well as participating in community discussions to cultivate healthy learning environments 🫶🏽

I now come with an intensified focus in leading 1 to 1 child-centred sessions, that are primarily based on creative & individualistic techniques to enable children with different learning styles to excel!

My daughter has been having tutoring with Uzma for some time now, Uzma is professional and extremely friendly. My daughter has special educational needs and finds it difficult to engage with tasks and interact with people, Uzma first focused on building a good relationship with her and finding out what she enjoys, then structures sessions around my daughter’s needs. Uzma is very knowledgeable, communicative and has a very calm and supportive approach. since working with her, my daughter has gained more confidence with her maths and spelling, she is brilliant with her and my daughter really enjoys her sessions. I’m looking forward to seeing my daughters progression and I highly recommend Uzma :-)
