At the outset, I will find out why the learner wants to speak Mandarin. This will lead me to the type of lessons I will provide. Then the next important point is to discern how the learner prefers to learn. The teaching and learning experience is based fully on mutual understanding and respect. The Enthusiasm of the teacher is key, there is no better qualification to be had.
