I am from Shenyang in North China. The spoken Chinese in Shenyang is very close to that of Beijing, the official Spoken dialect of Chinese.
I am living in England, where I teach Chinese to children of mixed ages.
I am a retired accountant. This means I have the time and passion to give to my students.
My mother and my husband are both retired teachers, which means I can benefit from their vast experience. I teach because I enjoy it, not out of necessity.
The lessons are based on my students doing the work, as opposed to the teacher talking too much. They like to do, they don't like to continually listen.
There are too many ways to mention of how you would present and deliver a lesson. The lessons are tailored to the learner.
Also, the whole of the learning experience is conducted in Mandarin. I do not believe in translating parts of the lessons into English. This is not a very good habit.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. If I was to become your Chinese tutor, you would not be disappointed.
