Canadian Certified Chef with 9 years of industry experience

I graduated from culinary school with a Canadian Red Seal Degree (Canada's trade equivalent of a bachelor’s degree) and began my career apprenticing in pubs and casual dining before moving on to fine dining restaurants. I worked up from prep cook to sous chef before taking my first head chef role at a remote fishing lodge, where I delivered fine dining private dinners during the evening as well as managed daily operations for a café under the same ownerships; afterward, I helped open an independent diner, before returning to the lodge as head chef for one final year.

In October 2023, I relocated to Leeds, working at a fine dining French restaurant before moving into my current position.

Whether you're a novice looking for help with knife skills and the basics, or a home cook ready to level up, I can guide you. Together, we can create a customized plan to suit your needs, and I’d be happy to share some of my personal recipes. As a former baker, I also have extensive knowledge in breads and pastry techniques, so if you need help in those areas, I’m here for you.

The nitty gritty:

As I work full-time hours, I am only offering online sessions and as such my availability is limited. So please be patient if it takes a few days to respond.

I currently only offer home cooking, French fine dining, baking, or pubs/classic roasts. I don't currently offer other cuisines such as Thai or Japanese.

My first session is free in which we will get a feel for each other, create a clear plan and go over what you'd like to learn. no cooking for this class.
