I'm a professionally qualified native Italian teacher. My lessons are aimed at students of all levels, ages and backgrounds. Lessons can be tailored to the students' needs depending on their goals and previous knowledge of the language.

My teaching approach is based on communication. This means using the target language as much as possible in class to create an immersive experience for the student. The language used as well as the materials will be tailored on the student's level of the language to enable them to understand and participate more in class. The content can be negotiated depending on the student's needs and goals. I think it's important to encourage the student throughout the process and sustain his/her motivation to continue to improve. Classes will be centered around the student encouraging him/her to reflect on how the language works to enable them to become independent learners in the long run. Cultural aspects will also be incorporated in the lessons.
