Hi everyone! My name is Thom and I a professional English instructor from the UK with 10 years' experience. I lived and worked in both Seoul and Tokyo, offering group and one-to-one English tuition in a variety of different settings. I also wrote textbooks - that have been published!

I am TEFL-certified and my accent is standard 'RP' British English ('Received Pronunciation'). I am a bright and outgoing teacher with a good sense of humour and I hope to make learning fun for you. I know a lot of good hacks and hints to get you progressing quickly!

We can work on: (a) General English communication, (b) Business English for your career, (c) Academic English - for essays, your uni debates, and all major tests, inc. IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge. I am very happy to help with social science or humanities subjects, including English Literature.
