English tutor for students aged from 11 - 16

I am a recent graduate from the University of Manchester and am currently studying for an MA in Political Science. I am an enthusiastic Tutor eager to contribute to success through hard work, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. As someone who has been tutored for around 5 years, I understand the vital importance of how a tutor can implant new academic skills that can translate to educational success! Having a strong relationship with the student should be recognised, to boost their confidence in areas they feel they lack. As an advocate for interactive learning, it is always important to adapt to a student's needs, and is one of many problem-solving skills I have in abundance. Reliability and professionalism are two key aspects when applying to a role of this calibre, as not only is the student dependent on me but representing the company in a punctual and positive manner should always be reflected. Finally, motivating students should be the overall goal of the role. Forming healthy, consistent, academic-orientated study habits for these students should be strongly prioritized as a way to maximise their academic skills. These will be achievable standards that I will deliver and will prepare my students to attain the best possible grades that they know they have rightfully deserved due to immense hard work.
