Advert description
I have a Masters equivalent qualification, and lots of practical experience of teaching many different students from different countries. I have also worked as a consultant specialist in the U.A.E.; helping with the development of teachers in the state school system. I have also developed bespoke classes designed for specialists areas. In al-Khafji I designed specialist courses for oil workers: this ranged from people working on the oil platforms to executives looking to complete MBA level study in another country. This was also the case in Poland where was directly involved in teaching high level executives: City Bank, Glaxo-Smithcline and PepsiCo etc. So I am very used to working with all kinds of different students.
I do try and make the lessons fun, and take away any stress student might have in learning a new language (even if we need to complete an exam). It's a big policy of mine to engage firstly with the student, and to try and reach an understanding of how we are going to approach things. Obviously with my experience I want to make this enjoyable for all of us (I also find this the best way to work).
I am happy to travel if needed, or to work on projects where it might be necessary to commit for a few months. Obviously, this would need to be negotiated at the time (especially if it means making up a bespoke course). Still, I am open to this if needed. Also, I am happy to teach online if that is what is needed. It would be a case of setting up the format etc, but I have no problem with doing that either.
If required I am happy to supply my CV with all the places that I have taught in over the years. My last overseas position was the training of U.A.E. pilots (11 years in Al-Ain).
One other thing I should mention is that I have also been in charge of major training programmes: in Saudi Arabia the contract was 56 million pounds, and undertaken by the UK/Saudi government. So I'm used to high level programmes.
Hopefully, people will find this interesting? I hope so? One thing for sure is that any student will get my complete 100% support.
Many thanks,
Phil
