I have been working in this area for over 25 years; both overseas and in the UK. I have taught most levels during that time, and been involved in designing specialist courses to meet different demands. I have worked in: Poland, Saudi Arabia and the UAE (over twenty years), and I'm used to preparing students for different exams (IELTS and MA's etc.)
I am fully qualified in this area and hold the appropriate qualifications up to level 8 on the European standards qualification chart (MA level); I also have a PGCE (teaching qualification). In short I am really well qualified, and have a lot of experience in this area. I will also point out I have qualifications, and knowledge, of a lot of different subject areas. Theses include: Business, Philosophy, literature, History and Science. The only area I would feel uncomfortable would be something like Chemistry (very little knowledge). I would be happy to design up courses for individual assignments though, and have done so for the oil industry and professional pilots.
When it comes to my lessons I try and make them as much fun as possible. I have found that if students' relax they will learn quicker, and more importantly enjoy and want to come back. I have a regular number of return students in my present position. I always work with students; and try and connect at a deep level if possible.
I am willing to look at new projects too; and try and advise if necessary. I worked as a consultant in the UAE advising on using English in the classroom.
Finally, I hope this gives some indication of my experience and qualifications. I am willing to look at most things, and happy to advise.
