I was born and raised in Korea, where I stayed until I was in my late 20s before relocating to the US. My undergraduate and graduate degrees were in landscape architecture, and as a minor, I also obtained a teaching license for secondary schools. I gained professional experience while employed by the government, but after moving to the United States, I changed my mind and developed a greater interest in the field of education. In the US, I started giving kids in elementary, middle, and high schools private math lessons. I started teaching Korean during the pandemic as well. I wish to inspire students to have a passion to learn another language through my experience and knowledge.
