I have a degree in Primary Education with a specialism in SEND. I am ex-Army and have been in education for 11 years.
I tutor an array of students, with and without Special Educational Needs.
Getting to know the students is essential to enable a fun and personalised session that helps ensure progress is made.
Whether students are a little behind or struggle in certain subjects, lack confidence and focus, or even if they just find it difficult to regulate their actions and behaviour enough to access lessons, then this A-typical teacher has the passion to help.
I mostly cover mainstream primary maths, English and phonics, and SEND maths, English, art, craft and design and life skills.

Reggie Raven in a nutshell

I am ex-army, and not your typical teacher. I have worked in education for the past 11 years and spent this time teaching both mainstream and SEN students. My sessions are personalised and adapted to the individual, I do my best to remove barriers, improve self-confidence and engagement, and provide the support that you need to make your learning easier and more enjoyable.
I mostly teach Primary, although am flexible and have experience with all ages and the most complex of needs and behaviours. To put things simply, tell me what you need, and if it's something I can help with, I will.
