Advert description
Currently I have completed a Master of Science course in Public Health at Birmingham City University, where my grade is a distinction with 73 percent marks. I completed a dissertation named Experiences of South Asian Immigrants diagnosed with diabetes type 2 or heart disease in the United Kingdom: A Qualitative Systematic Review, by using advanced databases and I achieved 90 percent marks. I also hold a master’s degree in applied Anthropology and bachelor’s degree in social Anthropology respectively from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. I started a PhD course on ‘’International Migration and Negotiating Identity: Internal Function of Households in Shekhorinagar under Jahangirnagar university in Bangladesh but unfortunately it did not complete due to a long gap during the Covid-19 pandemic, where I completed the course work, field data collection and prepared a draft of the thesis. I have finished seven modules in the MPH course, named Public Health Foundations; Public health: From health protection to community development; Global public health; Research: methods of enquiry; Leadership skills and project management for health and health care; Epidemiology and Evaluation; MSc Dissertation. These modules have provided me intense knowledge and practical skills on various public health theories and content in the UK and globally. Some modules, provide knowledge and skills to search issues and conduct research on public health issues. Besides, some modules grow skills on leadership and project management to handle health care issues through implementing a project. Henceforth, this academic background affords me a ground to understand and implement primary and secondary qualitative and quantitative research projects and subject specific knowledge across the world on public health.
