My research experience and publications include quantitative methods such as systematic review with meta-analysis, RCT (randomised controlled trial), cross sectional studies, surveys, and qualitative methods such as thematic analysis of focus group discussions, interviews.

My professional registration is as a Dietitian, with 30 years experience in the NHS, but I have also taught in Health & Social Care, Biomedical Science, Nutrition, Nursing, Medicine.
My area of expertise is nutrition in HIV, in which I have a PhD in Public Health from University of Birmingham. Last year I worked on a sexual and reproductive health programme with Voluntary Services Overseas in Zambia.
