Private English lesson for IELTS preparation, Business English and General English for adults

I have taught English as a second language in many countries with The British Council, CFBT and international colleges for over 20 years. I am a specialist in IELTS preparation as I am an ex-qualified examiner and have taught Business English and general English at all levels. For the last 2 years I have taught one to one classes online.
I like to find out the needs, interests and cultural background of my students so I can adapt the lessons to reflect this. I use a task-based learning style which incorporates all the key skills of learning English, reading writing, listening and speaking in order for the learner to achieve the task. I also combine this with input and exercises on pronunciation, vocab and grammar. I make my lessons fun and entertaining and use a variety of materials such as worksheets, course books, videos, songs and games. All materials are available to the student in word, powerpoint and pdf after the lesson for them to review the content of the lesson and to have further practice.
