Stephen is lecturer and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) with over 4 years of experience in designing modules, teaching and implementing research agenda within the field of Management. Stephen also has over 14 years practical experience in banking industry, entrepreneurship and education management. Stephen is desirous of becoming a professor of Management. Stephen holds a PhD in Management from the Robert Gordon University, Scotland for a body of work which focus on critical evaluation of the impact of environmental forces on organisation’s growth strategy and profitability. Stephen also holds an MSc in Management from Robert Gordon University, and a BSc (Hons) in Management Science (2.1) from University of Jos. Stephen is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner, a certified member of the Association for Project Management (APM), a certified practitioner of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, (Affiliate Member), and Affiliate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (AMCIPD). Stephen is also a Member of Chartered Management Institute, (MCMI), and an Affiliate Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ACIPS) and a member of Energy Institute, United Kingdom.
Similarly, as an industry practitioner, Stephen has held various managerial positions as team lead and senior business analyst in the banking industry. While in banking industry, Stephen developed banking Apps for the World Bank, World Health Organization, United Nations Children's Fund, Bilateral Institutions, UNESCO, Embassies and Non-governmental organizations, among others. Stephen’s strategy and implementation of this designed products saw significant growth of the Multilateral, bilateral, and Non-governmental organisations projects, Commercial Banking and Private Banking Portfolio. Stephen severally won off-cycle promotions underpinned by his contribution to the growth of risk asset, liability generation and stakeholder management in the banking industry.
