Physics tutor providing engaging and exam targetted lessons for KS3 and KS4

My main responsibilities are:
Ø taking responsibility for the progress of a class.
Ø organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
Ø planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
Ø motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
Ø Altering lesson plans according to disparate ability groups, particularly for students having additional learning needs.
Ø maintaining discipline.
Ø preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development.
Ø meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development.
Ø coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum and supporting Mentor Teacher in the delivery of this specialist area.
Ø working with others to plan and coordinate work, thereby, promoting positive and productive teamwork.
Ø keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
