Hello. I am Kinga and would love to be your kid's tutor. I have been teaching since late 2019, when I moved back to Poland after living in London for almost eight years. I took the premiere TEFL course during the pandemic to get my teaching certificate. Since then, I have been teaching kids for over three years now.
I like to teach young learners because I can use my other talents during my classes. I am a singer and songwriter, and I can play the guitar. Writing my own kids' songs to help my students learn English through music is great because not only do they listen to words, but we also have fun singing them. So, the classes have a variety of music numbers and regular teaching, too.
During the lesson, we start from the basics and move forward based on the child's level of English. If a child is starting his journey with the language, I use a lot of singing, rhymes, and games to make the lesson as interesting as possible. For older kids, we start with basic grammar and spelling, reading (if the child can do it), and pronunciation of the verbs.
I also draw my teaching props that I use during my classes. They are colorful pictures of different vocabulary categories, such as "animals," "fruits & vegetables," "food & drinks," "family," "toys," "numbers," "alphabet," and many, many others. Sometimes, we play games, and other times, we practice speaking (correct pronunciation) and build basic sentences.
I am available for full-time online tutoring from Monday to Saturday. I use various online teaching platforms, including Tutlo, Cambly, Skype, and Google Meet, to ensure a seamless learning experience for my students.
The typical lesson length with me is between 20 minutes and 1 hour, depending on my student's needs.
Price range/Lesson length:
- £10/20min - age 3 to 6
- £20/40min - age 7 to 12
- £30/1 hour - 13 and up
Even though I mainly teach kids, I can also meet online with teenagers and adults, and we can practice our English with a conversation, vocabulary practice, and grammar.
