I have a University BA Degree in languages. I have a multi-year experience teaching Russian to businessmen, from “beginners” to “intermediate”. The main focus is made, in the case of beginner’s level students, on familiarisation with and recognition of the Russian alphabet, followed by a step-by-step reading of words and small texts, mastering pronunciation, understanding of short sentences, and starting talking! Explaining how it works - and giving examples. Short dialogues. Helping students to complete sentences, fill in omitted words, combine new words, and finally, take part in a conversation.
