Advert description
I have a LLB Law degree, but I am currently studying my PGCE in Primary Education at the University of Cambridge.
Before beginning my PGCE, I worked as a teaching Assistant in Cambridgeshire where I ran various interventions for all ages, and worked closely with children with SEND and SEMH needs.
Outside of a school setting, I worked as an Au Pair where I tutored a 7-year-old with ADD in person in both Maths and English. Following on from this, I continued to tutor them online. I am experienced in creating resources, planning lessons and adapting to meet the needs of individual children.
I have worked closely with parents when tutoring, and fully recognise the importance of the role. Having a tutor myself as a child, I know that the role is not just to ensure an academic catch-up, but also to build confidence, encourage, go at their pace, and strengthen the foundational knowledge.
I also love to make learning fun, and like to adapt the learning to coincide with the child's interests.
I look forward to hearing from you!
