A Certified English and French Language Tutor

As a trained and a well experienced Language teacher/instructor, I have worked in the school environment teaching English and French Language for more than a decade. One of the prominent shifts in the teaching profession in terms of approach was the movement of teaching focus from teacher-centered, to learner-centered, where the focus of the whole teaching and learning process is on the needs, interest and ability of the learner. I employ mixed teaching methods as I make use of audio/visual method, where students have access to videos and audios from native speakers. My students learn basic communicative skill in a more realistic context, I deploy both direct and indirect method of instruction but majourly my class is filled with exiting communicative activities that will make my learners acquire their target language in the most nature/enabling environment and with least anxiety. I am experienced in working with children and adolescent and adults. I have worked with autistic and special need children rendering speech therapy to them.
