Guitar and Music Theory lessons from the comfort of your own home. Over 10 years experience in music education

As a postgraduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, I have a lot of experience in the field of music, especially in teaching and performance. I began learning classical guitar at age ten. Since then, I have won major music awards such as the Contemporary Irish Music Cup and the Aileen Gore strings competition at the All Ireland Feis Ceoil. I have also performed in various venues around Ireland and abroad including the National Concert Hall, the RDS, Koblenz theatre Germany and the Exeter Cathedral. I have received master classes from some of the world’s leading guitarists such as Berta Rojas, Clive Carroll, Sergio Assad and Paul Galbraith. I have also studied with Xuefei Yang for two years.


I find teaching students extremely rewarding and I have vast experience in guitar pedagogy. I have helped students prepare for third level music and grade exams in acoustic/electric/classical guitar and music theory. I mainly focus on the RIAM, RGT and Trinity Guildhall syllabi. My primary focus teaching is to connect with the student and to provide them with the confidence to perform to their full potential.
