First Class Honors degree in Mechanical Engineering with Tutoring Experience

I am a recent graduate of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Limerick, Ireland. This was a 4-year Honors Bachelor’s degree that included work experience abroad in Germany for 8 months. I achieved a 1.1 First Class Honors degree. I am looking for a tutor role in Mathematics, DCG, Engineering, or other STEM related subjects and would appreciate the opportunity to interview.

I have experience in technical and mathematics roles from my time at Analog Devices in Ireland, where I worked with virtual reality, 3-D modelling, and 3-D printing. I received a Certificate of Achievement for “recognition of excellent academia” for my time within the company. My final year project, of which I was awarded an A1 grade, was on the topic of multi-element airfoil design for horizontal-axis wind turbines. From these experiences I found that I work well as an individual and as a part of a team, and that I lean towards leadership roles. I have always had an interest in teaching and find it easy to speak to crowds. I received an A1 in my final year presentation which was given in front of lecturers and students in engineering.

Upon reading your job description I felt as though this role would be a great fit for me. I am moving to Berlin, Germany, in a few weeks and have been looking for a remote job to work on in Ireland currently, and then when I am away. I have experience tutoring Leaving Certificate Mathematics and DCG from early on in my time at university. My availability is very flexible and open right now and this would be ideal.
