Hi there ! My name is Aaron and I will be your new tutor ! Here is a brief overview of what a session looks like with me !
I begin each session with a presentation on the overall topic to begin with, followed by a question done out by myself. This is done in labelled steps so that a student will see a clear guideline approach to tackling questions. Then an opportunity is given for the student to attempt a question with my guidance, followed by a few questions assigned to be completed between tutoring sessions. The student is encouraged to ask questions at any point in the process.
I try to keep the tutoring session quite light to begin with. The aim is to build confidence in a subject and to not be afraid to attempt a difficult question. Success doesn't happen without an attempt, and an attempt guarantees a learning experience !
I have a First Class Honors degree in Mechanical Engineering and am looking for more tutoring remote work as I enjoy teaching and the freedom that remote work gives !
