Advert description
My experience:
I am a qualified Personal Trainer Level 3, Gym Instructor Level 2, CHEK Exercise Coach and CHEK Holistic Lifestyle coach. I have worked in 4 different gym settings. These include: Sussex University Sport, The Gym Group, Brighton University and a small private gym in Seaford in East Sussex. I have also worked with individuals and groups in the sport setting.
How do I train and teach:
Initially I have a comprehensive system of assessment for a student to meet them at where they are at in order to then progress them safely with a plan of action.
Once we have a starting point, then I can show them the correct things they need to do (whether it's stretching, exercise and/or perhaps nutritional advice) in order to achieve their desired goals in a timely fashion.
If we don't have the time and/or resources to assess then a more general approach can be taken.
I teach by demonstrating, explaining and then guiding the person using visual, auditory and kinaesthetic cues.
I am very personable so I know all too well about building rapport with the student and understand that the growth/learning process needs to be an enjoyable one.
What I teach:
Corrective Stretching, Corrective Exercise, Functional Exercise, Primal Pattern Movements, Flexibility, Stability, Strength, Power, Scientific Back Training, Scientific Core Conditioning, Metabolic Typing Diet and lifestyle choices to enable optimal growth from training and dieting.
What my lessons are like:
It all depends on who I'm teaching, how many people I'm teaching, the space and equipment available and how much time we have.
I am very adaptable and resourceful and can make any situation work.
Generally speaking my lessons are safe, structured, planned, reliable, concise, balanced, precise, hard working (if required), inspiring and motivating.
