West London Art Tutor specilaising in GCSE and A Level sketchbook development and refinement

I am an innovative and friendly art educator experienced in working with GCSE and A level students. I have a background in Art History, Graphic Design and Oil painting but experienced in using a wide range of materials to suit my students needs. In the past I have worked in ceramics, installation, textiles as well as digital technology. I currently work for an independent and creative school in North London teaching art and design and love working with students individually to refine their artistic voice. I have a heart for helping students build their personal confidence in this area as well as helping students realise the importance art education has in society and beyond. I am process led in my work helping students to develop their ideas through material studies and refinement of these materials. I always link my work to artists, helping students engage critically with them, learning new concepts and techniques. I have worked with both Ed Excel and OCR exam boards and familiar with both assessment objectives.
