I am a teen who LOVES languages, I have done two languages for GCSEs and will also do two for a levels (Italian and French)

I would first begin by understand where there level is, then if level is at an intermediate level (B1 or beyond) I would only speak in Italian while explaining things they don’t understand in Italian vocab that they find easier to comprehend or work through understanding grammar and improving vocabulary if they are A1 (beginner) this can be done through games, casual talk, etc we will go through things and themes they want to expand their knowledge in while taking regular quizzing to see how they are improving, then work on things they find more difficult.
