I originally took Spanish lessons with Pilar at the time I was preparing to move to Spain. So, I was looking to gain an understanding of Spanish that would be of good, practical use but also thorough, and I was very happy that the sessions gave me this. They were fun, with Pilar creating a nice, relaxed and encouraging atmosphere, meaning I was never nervous about making any silly mistakes. I learnt a lot and felt I progressed quickly, which was a nice surprise as I’ve never been particularly good at languages. The Spanish I learned with Pilar certainly helped me to then settle in Spain more easily and quickly, especially because of the confidence it gave me for talking to the locals in Spanish.

I have been taking Spanish classes through my employer with Pilar for the past 3 years, face to face and then online twice a week. I have now reached a good level of written and conversational Spanish that I can use at work and in my leisure time in Spain when I did not speak a word 3 years ago! The classes are always fun, interactive and various in the teaching style. I really enjoy learning with Pilar and would recommend her to any type of audience!
