GCSE, A-level and 11+ Maths summer program + after-school online tutoring

Advert description
I have an MBA from Boston University and I took Calculus from Columbia University. I usually teach students who need help with GCSE, A-levels maths and Calculus, but I also teach 11+. Flexible time and flexible package pricing. I can create a summer program that would be up to 10 hours of tutoring a week with flexible timing over 6-8 weeks. This program would of course be personalised to help the particular student.

I have helped many students get 9s on their GCSE maths and A* on their A-levels. A huge part of doing well on these exams is exam technique, something which I stress upon in my teaching courses. I have a hands on approach with teaching: I have my students learn by doing exam-style problems together, I teach theories and formula by proving them in context and I eliminate any weak points my students struggle with.

At the same time I think the joy of maths should also be emphasised, not ruined by the stressful exam environment. I try to make every lesson enjoyable for my student and try to nurture an appreciation for maths in them.

In terms of the 11+, I have taken a few students in the past. One particular student I helped get into St Paul's Girl school, which my own daughter attends. I would be willing to take on more 11+ students in the future.
